5K Kick Ass-paragus Fun Run/Walk

All are welcome, bring your race shoes or your Nordic Ski Walking Poles.  Be prepared to stay the entire day and join in the Festival Events.  You can also call Frank Skrocki at Sleeping Bear Surf and Kayak in downtown Empire at 231-326-9283.

Race Location and Time:
Empire public beach pavilion with the race starting at 10am.

Course:
The course begins at the pavilion located at the Empire public beach on the shore of Lake Michigan.  The course will proceed straight uphill on Lake street and Wilco Road to the trailhead of the Empire Bluff.  Make a U-turn and it’s all downhill from there.  Follow the arrows and course volunteers and continue through the quaint neighborhoods of Empire as you make your way back to the finish at the pavilion where you started.
